Fresh air vent rust problem.

Here is something to look at when you are looking at that '71 Super Bee project car. On most non-A/C cars, they have fresh air vents under the dash. Check to make sure they are still there and haven't rusted off. This is a pic of the drivers side. Some things like fender and quarter panel replacement are obvious, but check the inner and outer firewall/cowl area for rust damage.
